A manipulation is a very precise and skilled maneuvre that is performed by hand on a joint of the body. This is meant to create movement and loosen the joint so that it can move properly for optimal functioning and less pain.
What is that popping sound?
Often when a joint is manipulated, a gas bubble creates a negative pressure within the joint which causes that ‘popping’ sound. This treatment is a comfortable and pain free treatment option to help relieve pain and get you moving better.
