Serving the Waterloo Community We Love

At Price Health, we donate $1 for every treatment back to local charities in and around the Waterloo area — so you can feel good knowing you’re helping local organizations while feeling better at the same time.

Making a Difference, One Treatment at a Time

When our executive team met for our 2016 annual general meeting in November that year, they voted a new initiative into effect called Price Gives Back.

Our purpose was to extend our help beyond the walls of Price’s chiropractic, physiotherapy, and massage therapy services. By donating $1 for every treatment we provide, we’d have the means to give back to the Kitchener-Waterloo community in a bigger way.

When we proposed this idea to the Price Health team, they all jumped on board! To date we’ve raised tens of thousands of dollars in support of local non-profit organizations — we couldn’t be more proud of the men and women at PRICE, who willingly volunteer their time and energy for great causes.

Waterloo Fundraising Events

Here at Price, we love fundraising events! One of our favourites over the years has been our Train the Trainer event, in partnership with our sister business, The Fit Club Waterloo.

Launched in 2014, our Train the Trainer events have become community highlights, where roles reverse as Price Fit Club members become the instructors for our fitness coaches—complete with superhero themes and plenty of laughter.

Since inception, we’ve raised over $10,000 for Starling Community Services Waterloo (previously Lutherwood Recreational Therapy), where 100% of proceeds fund equipment that keeps vulnerable children physically active and engaged. We’re privileged to have such generous community members who make these successes possible!

Annual Giving Initiatives

At Price Health, community is at the heart of everything we do. Each year, we’re proud to support initiatives that make a meaningful impact right here in the Waterloo Region:

Some of Our Community Partners Through the Years

Every dollar donated represents our ongoing commitment to Waterloo’s health—both inside and outside our clinic walls. Below are the organizations whose vital work we’ve been honored to support:

HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre

Laurier Ball-Stars Basketball Tournament

Price Health proudly supports the Laurier Ball-Stars Tournament . This inclusive school-based program combines life-skills development with basketball to help youth from Kitchener-Waterloo build both mental and physical fitness.

As event founder Kat Katsambrokos noted, “This weekend is all about building healthy brains, bodies, and community”—values that perfectly align with our mission at Price Health!

Food 4 Kids Waterloo Region

Through our Price Gives Back program, we’ve been honored to sponsor children for an entire year through Food 4 Kids Waterloo Region. Donations provide nutritious food packages during weekends and school breaks throughout the year—times when school nutrition programs aren’t available.

This partnership reflects our commitment to addressing food insecurity in our community, recognizing that proper nutrition is foundational to overall health and wellbeing.

Outdoor Gym at Victoria Park

Since 2017, Price Health has been a proud sponsor of the active fitness area in Kitchener’s Victoria Park. We joined Kitchener Mayor Berry Vrbanovic and other community partners for the dedication ceremony of this innovative outdoor gym, which promotes accessible fitness opportunities for everyone in our community.

This investment reflects our belief that health and wellness should be available to all, regardless of economic barriers, and demonstrates our commitment to creating healthier public spaces throughout Kitchener-Waterloo.

Habitat for Humanity Waterloo

The Price staff have rolled up their sleeves for team building days with Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region, learning to install trim, dig ditches, and bolt foundations alongside dedicated regular volunteers who contribute multiple days each week.

We’re proud to support Habitat’s mission of mobilizing volunteers and community partners to build affordable housing and promote homeownership as a means of breaking the cycle of poverty.

This hands-on experience allowed our team to directly contribute to creating stable, affordable housing in our community—another dimension of our commitment to holistic health and wellbeing in Waterloo Region.
