Team Building Day
The exec team at PRICE met for its annual general meeting in Nov 2016 and voted on a new initiative at PRICE. We named it “Every Treatment Counts“. Our purpose was to extend our help beyond the walls of Price Chiropractic & Fitness. By donating $1 for every treatment at PRICE we would have a means to give back and positively impact and support our community. When we proposed this idea to the team at PRICE, they all jumped on board! To date we have over $6000 in donations for 2017.
On Wednesday May 17th the Price Team took part in a wonderful day with Habitat for Humanity. It was a blazing 30 degrees but it didn’t stop our team from giving 110%. After a fun & informative safety orientation the team put on their hard hats, grabbed their water bottles and got to work. We all enjoyed getting to know the people behind Waterloo Region Habitat for Humanity. We met people that volunteer up to 4 days a week, putting in long physical days of hard labour. Not only did we learn how to do trim, dig ditches and bolt foundation, we got to know some great people in our community and the WHY behind what they do.
Habitat for Humanity mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting homeownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty. We couldn’t be more proud of our amazing team at PRICE, by willingly volunteering their time and energy, we were able to contribute to this great cause.
